The leaders of TI Georgia, Economic Policy Research and the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (Rondeli Foundation), Eka Gigauri, Giorgi Oniani, Nino Evgenidze, Gigi Gigiadze, and Eka Metreveli, are on a visit to Brussels on December 6-10.

They are holding meetings with those representatives of EU structures who work actively on issues related to Georgia, in particular, with members of the European Parliament, representatives of the President of the European Council, the European Commission, the European External Action Service and large political groups at the European Parliament, as well as with the European Policy Center (EPC) and a group of investigative journalists.

The main topics of up to 20 meetings are the situation in Georgia, the degree of democracy, problems in the judiciary, challenges of corruption, and the situation in the media, as well as the ways of overcoming the existing political crisis and integration with European and Euro-Atlantic structures. We hope that the meetings held in Brussels will help the European partners determine the agenda regarding Georgia and identify priority issues.

The visit of the NGO leaders is being carried out before the Eastern Partnership summit, which will be held in Brussels on December 15.
